Uncle Jesse and Aunt Gina's wedding
We spent New Years in Brownsville, TX. Our Aunt Gina became Mrs. Almaraz on Jan.3. It was a really nice wedding. I was an usher (I had to wear a suit ;/), Noah was the ring bearer, Sienna was the flower girl who held Aunt Gina's train, and Natalie was a regular flower girl. Natalie took her job very serious. The photographer never caught her smiling as she threw the rose petals. We love our Uncle Jesse. Right after the church ceremony, Noah pulled Uncle Jesse aside and told him they needed to have a man to man talk. Noah asked him, "now that you are my uncle what is the first thing you are going to do with me." Mommy thought that was a sweet moment because Noah was saying he wanted a relationship with Uncle Jesse. The reception was beautiful and everyone but dad and I danced. Sorry we don't have any footage but we have now learned that Noah and Natalie can dance! What a blessing it was to have all our grandparents present :)
Update
Mommy here:
We are so sorry we have not updated since July. Life has been a roller coaster for us. I have been working up until two weeks ago. In the summer God gave us a mission. We will be starting Acts 15 ministry. This ministry will be developed to help encourage church members how to biblically care for their pastor and his family. We plan to train church members who feel called to develop pastor care teams. George has been busy researching and linking with others ministries of the like around the US. He is also finishing his degree in biblical studies. Along with that calling in the summer came the call to move. Our house has been on the market since November 2014. Little by little in my spare time in between long term substitute positions, we have been packing and preparing to move. Two and half weeks ago we felt God telling us to move. So the house is basically packed and ready and just today we found a rental in Brownsville, TX. Brownsville is our home town and where we feel God is calling us to live. With a new beginning on the horizon, God has been so good! Ever present in each step He has revealed to us. Even in the moments where we questioned and doubted if this really was happening because in our human eyes it wasn't happening fast enough. George will be working again from home and I will continue to find a full-time teaching job. So that might leave our children attending public school. They are excited about that possibility. Although the excitement and reality is setting in, its going to be hard to leave our wonderful family we have made here in San Antonio. To think 8.5 years ago, I drove my car crying the whole drive to San Antonio, with only Ethan in the back seat and now I'm going back with 3 more kids and crying again. Oh how God has blessed us with the wonderful friendships we have made while here in SA. All the time God is good!!! May the eve of our new life bring glory to God!!! Here are some random photos of us!! <3
