Merry Christmas

What an awesome Christmas we had. We waited till Natalie woke up to get all the adults up so we could rip into our gifts. Before that, I requested that we sing happy birthday to Jesus and we all did. After all, through our Advent praying time we are learning to worship and honor God in all we do. I got to play Santa this year. We received so many gifts and my Uncle Mark, Nana and Aunt Jackie were here to celebrate with us. Mommy also baked a lot of cookies to share with our friends and neighbors. Hope everyone enjoyed this Christmas season.....my favorite time of the year :). Oh and yes, those are bb guns ;)

Animal cell

Noah and I are currently learning about plant and animal cells and all their functions. We had a project to do and we both chose to make an animal cell out of cake and frosting.

Christmas program

This year Noah volunteered to do a speaking part at our church's children Christmas program. He did an excellent job! He was the youngest kid speaking. Sienna and I sang in the choir. To help us all focus on the true meaning of Christmas, mommy recommended we all do a daily Advent devotional before bed time. SO we light our Advent candle and daddy reads our devotional and ask questions and we sing a song of praise then we all take turns praying. We all look forward to this time. I made and wrapped 2 gifts today and placed them under the tree. The girls get to pray too when we start before their bed time. It is so cute to hear Natalie pray. May the Lord bless you and keep you as we joyfully await His birth. God bless you!

Thanksgiving 2013

This Thanksgiving Uncle Mark, Nana, and Aunt Jackie were here. I surprised mommy and daddy with a sign I had been working on all week secretly. I enjoy doing things for others. The food was fabulous and the Longhorns and Cowboys won! It was a perfect Thanksgiving in my book! I am thankful for everything God has blessed me with. He is so good! Here are some pics of what we all did that day.

Lost Maples

We took a drive out to Lost Maples park just north of Bandera and Kerrville. Our Pastor and his family joined us. It was a beautiful day and drive that started out with some yummy donuts from the German bakery in Castroville. Checkout the picture of Monkey Rock. It was the only land marker we got to see. We hiked about 3 miles total at the park and enjoyed the Fall colors on the trees. After, we had a tasty lunch at Camp Verde.
