Mowing the Lawn

Noah got a bubble mower for a birthday gift and its been hard trying to get him to share it with me. On Monday afternoon he went down for a nap and Uncle Ron started cutting the grass so I seized the opportunity and test drove the mower for Noah. I had a lot of fun. Mommy says that she hopes I remember the cool feeling when I get old enough to use the big mower all by myself.

Noah's Birthday Lunch

After church on 6-29-08, Mommy, Rachuel, Noah, Grandpa George, Grandma Sylvia, Aunt Jackie, Aunt Genna and I all went out to eat lunch at Macaroni Grill. We told the waiter that we were celebrating Noah's birthday. Since Sunday was his official birthday. They brought him ice cream and a cake and we all sang to him. Daddy was not able to be with us because he was teaching a class. We all enjoyed being together this weekend.

Fun Times

Before Noah's Birthday party began, Grandpa George took me to the Riverwalk. So here are a couple pictures of my Aunt Geena, Aunt Jackie and I being silly.

Noah's 2nd Elmo Birthday Party

Noah is now 2 yrs old. Daddy and Mommy had a birthday party for him. We all had a blast and a lot of our friends came over. We played pin the nose on Elmo, croquet, and we mostly ran around and had a blast. We also got to hit Elmo the pinata. We all got a chance to hit it, but Colton was the one that broke thru it and the candy starting flying out. Mommy made Noah's cake and another great choco-flan cake. Noah got a lot of great gifts. He had tons of fun and was smiling the whole time. He did not cry the whole time. I am proud of my little brother and happy is older so I can play and rough him around some more. I love you Noah!

Noah and makeup

When Rachuel is putting on her makeup, Noah sneaks into her room and sits with her and just starts applying makeup to his face. This time we got proof!!!

Swimming with the Vasquez Clan

Grandpa George, Grandma Sylvia , Aunt Jackie and Aunt Geena came to town for Noah's 2nd birthday party. We met them at their hotel and went swimming. We had a lot of fun. I finally, forcefully, allowed Mommy to take me into the deep end with my floaties. I had a blast! I kept swimming back and forth between Mommy and Aunt Jackie. Noah loved being tossed between Mommy and Aunt Jackie and having Grandpa pull him around on his little bear float. I especially enjoyed playing volleyball with Grandpa and Grandma in the pool. Aunt Geena and I goofed around as usual.

Last Day in Brownsville

On our last morning in Brownsville, we got to go have breakfast with Aunt Jackie at IHOP. I had a funny face chocolate chip pancake. It was very tasty. We then went to the mall to ride the carousel. We got to have two rides. After that we played in the kids area for 1 hour. Mommy wanted to make sure we expended some energy so we can sleep on the trip home. We got to see Grandpa Kent again and he took us to ride all the mechanical cars, motorcycles and stuff. We had a great time in Brownsville and did a lot of fun things!!!!

The Shrimp Boat

On the way to South Padre Island, you pass up the shrimp basin my Grandpa Kent works at. We stopped by to see Grandpa and got to go on one of the shrimp boats. He showed us the engine . It was yellow and very large! I told Grandpa it was to noisy down there. Then we got to seat in the captain's chair and turn the stirring wheel. That was pretty cool. Grandpa told me not to be afraid of the ocean and to have fun at the beach. He calls me "Champ."

South Padre Island

Noah, mommy and I, got to go down to the valley this past weekend. Ms. Lindsey needed company driving down so mommy and us went with her and took advantage and went to the beach. I was very excited from the time we left San Antonio. The beach was beautiful!!! It wasn't hot and the waves were hardly breaking. I got brave and went waist deep with my Aunt Geena. I am glad she came along because we had a blast in the ocean. Noah mainly stayed on shore collecting sand and water and then dumping it on himself and a near by man who was laying out. We then walked the beach looking for sea shells to bring home to daddy. I later threw them all back into the ocean. We built sand castles, they didn't stay up very long because hurricane NOAH came in and destroyed them all. Enjoy the pictures !!!! I can't wait to go back :-)
